Background
In June 2001 a Friday coaching session was set up by the Albion Sports Management Committee lead by Commercial manager Bally Singh, Albion Sports first manager Kulvinder Singh Sandu, Second Team manager Jagjit Chahal. The aim is to develop a junior section within the club quality coaching and football opportunities to provide player pathways.
Aims of the Club
TThe main aims for the Friday coaching sessions are to provide the community with an opportunity to receive coaching from F.A qualified coaches. It is hoped that boys and girls will reach a certain standard to play in organised league matches. The club is committed to as many children as possible enjoying the football experience regardless of age, gender, race and ability. We are proud and wish to maintain a family friendly atmosphere that the club has.
Current & Future Developments
The club is in the process of applying for the F.A charter standard. This is the quality mark for football clubs in this country.
The Friday coaching sessions has 3 F.A coaching certificates qualified coaches who organise training session for children aged 6-16 boys & girls
